The purpose of this project was to make use and upgrade all available and adequate water sources within the areas surrounding Salt City, to collect and supply the networks with the required water demand. The works were to be constructed at different sites at different locations. This project comprised the supply, construction, commissioning and maintenance of 8 water reservoirs of varied capacities up to 3.000 m3 ; 4 main pumping stations, 3 Deep well pumps; 49 km of ductile iron and black steel main transmission pipelines of DN 150-500; chlorine equipment; offices; guard residences; asphalted yards; power transformers; control panels; reinforced concrete water channels; external fences; and all associated civil and electromechanical works.
